Yes, you must be a CMU student in order to be eligible to participate.
Students of all levels of programming experiences are welcome. No prior poker knowledge is needed, but we strongly recommend at least one team member should be versed in programming.
It will be from Friday, March 29, 6 PM to Saturday, March 30, 8 PM, with scheduled breaks for eating and sleeping!
The specific poker variant will be unveiled on the competition day. We will also hold workshops and sessions to help you get started!
All participants will have the opportunity to share their resumes and connect with our sponsors. Winners will also take home a cash prize, with a prize pool of over $8,000!
You may work in teams of up to 4! As the competition date nears, we will have official team registration. If you don't have a team, dont worry! We have allocated time at the beginning to find other participants if you are still looking for teammates.
